M.Phil (Veterinary Virology) is a 2-year duration research level course. Veterinary Virology is a specific subject that deal with the study of viruses causing diseases and disorders in animals. The course syllabus involves the study of underlying mechanisms of virulence, virus epidemiology and immune responses to viruses. The goal of this program to investigate the transmission routes and behavior of pathogens during infections and use this knowledge to design better therapeutic strategies or vaccines in order to improve the health of humans and animals. Eligibility:
- To seek after M.Phil., one needs to have a Master's degree in the subject he wants to do M.Phil.
