M.Phil (Phytopharmacy & Phytomedicine) is a research-level Pharmacy course with a 2-year duration. Also, it provided on a part-time basis by certain institutes. It covers all the aspects of two areas phytochemistry and pharmacognosy. It plays a major role in the herbal drug industry. Also, it requires the development of new analytical methods using sophisticated instruments such as FTIR, HPLC, and HPTLC to check the quantity and quality of raw medicines. Also, its contracts with the phytochemical tests and analysis of herbal drugs. It is the study of phytomedicine which are chemicals derived from plants. Eligibility:
- To seek after M.Phil., one needs to have a Master's degree in a related subject.
