M.Phil (Fracture Mechanics) is a postgraduate academic research degree course. Fracture mechanics provides a strong tool for characterizing failure of both monolithic materials and bonded systems. The main purpose of this course to provide candidates with an introduction to the mechanics of fracture of brittle and ductile materials. During the study time candidates introduce to the mechanics of fracture of brittle and ductile materials. Fracture Mechanics is a critical subject of science that provide a powerful tool for characterizing failure of both monolithic materials and bonded systems. The master program made up a powerful foundation for applicant in the field, so as to train them for higher qualification in the field.
