This is one of the organizations selected by the government. of India to become a center of excellence in mental health. IMHANS is a postgraduate training center affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS). IMHANS is located in the Government. The primary focus is on mental health care delivery, training, research and policy development. Everyone who needs mental health services should receive appropriate care, which is a fundamental right. Mental health is considered an asset and collective actions are taken to promote mental health. Communities are empowered to take responsibility for the mental health of their members. To Lead efforts to address the mental health needs of the region's population.
