Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology - RGAFAT

Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology", Thiruvananthapuram , initially settled as the "Kerala Flying Club", was enrolled under the Indian Companies Act 1956 on 14.07.1959. In 1980, the name" Kerala Flying Club" was changed to Kerala Aviation Training Center and later in 1981 the Government of Kerala brought the establishment under its immediate control. Along these lines with the endorsement of the Director General of Civil Aviation, KATC was renamed as Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology a Society under the title Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Act 1955. The new set up "Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology " became effective from 01.06.2006. 

Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology is an establishment claimed by the Government of Kerala .The prime target of the Academy is to advance the workmanship and study of flying, floating and flight in the entirety of its angles and matters accidental to or generally associated with. The Academy expects to begin College of Engineering in Aeronautical Science and Technology,at a later date.
