ADMISSIONGATI (Government Aviation Training Institute) was set up in 1946 to achieve a quantum improvement in the guidelines of flying and ground preparing of business pilots in the Country as Orissa Flying Club. It was converged with the Orissa government Aviation Department in 1974 and Government Aviation Training Institute (GATI) appeared. From that point forward, the foundation has prepared countless business pilots, some of whom are authorities in different carriers. GATI is a fantasy of Mr. Biju Patnaik, an Aeronautical Engineer, Navigator, an Ace Pilot, industrialist, a famous political dissident or more every one of the a delegated statesman of national and universal notoriety.
