ADMISSIONThe National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG) has been built up as an independent organization by the Government of India, under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology. This is the first organization in Quite a while expressly dedicated to inquire about, preparing, interpretation and administration and limit working in biomedical genomics.
It is situated in Kalyani, West Bengal, India, around 50 km. from Kolkata. Associated with Kolkata by roadways, interstates and railroads, it takes around one and one-half hours to reach Kalyani from Kolkata.
