Indian Association for Cultivation of Science - IAFCS

The Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) is a general public enlisted under Act XXI of 1860 and the relating State Act viz. the West Bengal State Registration Act 1961, with its home office at 2A and 2B, Raja S. C. Mallick Road, Calcutta - 700 032, West Bengal, India. It has a Governing Council with various individuals chose or designated and the Registrar as its Non-Member Secretary. The Council has the capacities, obligations and power as conceived in the Memorandum and Bye Laws and according to the arrangements of the significant Act. 

The Institute is controlled by the Governing Council, which is the summit strategy making body. The Director is the CEO of the Institute and maintains the matter of the Association under the supervision of the Council. The Director is helped by the Departmental Heads of the Scientific Departments and Service Departments including Administration. The Administration is going by the Registrar of the Association who helps the Director in his capacity. Enlistment center, who is the by and large responsible for the regulatory working including Finance and Accounts, is the Drawing and Disbursing Officer of IACS and is likewise helped by the Deputy Registrar, Finance and Accounts Officer, Assistant Registrar and so forth. The Registrar offers help administrations to all the Academic staff. All individuals from the staff including the Registrar and the Head of the Departments are under the managerial control of the Director.
