ADMISSIONS. Kariyappa College of Education was begun in June 1955 by poojya Sri.S .Kariappa.The school went to bat for advanced education competing with universities that were rare back then. The beginning of the school were experience some with crude offices. Bit by bit The College turned into a reference point of edification and young men and young ladies from each edge of the taluk just as neighboring taluks spilled in journey of learning.
It was just a science school first and foremost. Understudies of this taluk needed to go to Bangalore or Mysore for passing B.Sc degree. The Founder President Poojya Sri S. Kariappa distinguished this need and began the establishment as a science school. Be that as it may, step by step the interest of the neighborhood populace for Arts and business courses expanded. In 1965 Arts and trade courses began. The executives course was begun in the year 2000. PG courses in Kannada and History were begun in the year 2010-11 and trade course in the year 2012-13.
