Mitra charitable trust was based in 2004 underneath the auspicious steering of HH Vidyavallabha Theertha Swamiji of Shri Kaniyoor maths.

This Trust was started with the intention of extending medical and academic services to an oversized population. The Trust is with competence nurtured by Dr Shreedhar holloa N., the Medical Director of Hindu deity faculty of Nursing and Hindu deity Hospital, Udupi. Dr P.N. Srinivas Rao, one among the Trustees and notable eye specialist and pioneer within the academic field was instrumental in beginning this nursing school. Dr B.G.
