ADMISSIONDr. The Ambedkar Institute for Disabled Persons in Kanpur was established in 1997 by the Uttar Pradesh government under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The University is recognized under the UGC Act, 1956 and the Persons with Disabilities Act (Equal Opportunities, Right to Protection and Full Partnership Act, 1995). Affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow (AKTU). The institute offers a variety of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. These courses include B.Tech courses and diploma courses. In B.Tech courses, 60% seats are reserved for PwC candidates and Diploma courses are specially designed for them. His admission to AITH Kanpur for these courses is done on the basis of entrance exams like JEE-Cup and JEE-Mains. Candidates who pass the selection process will be considered for admission. The institute has internship positions and offers various internship opportunities to students by inviting companies to AITH Kanpur's internship campaign.
