Late Mr.J.R.D.Tata the father of aviation in Republic of India was initial to get the pilots licence in February 1929 from The city Flying Club.The city Flying Club has distinctive distinction of being the sole flying club within the world, that below took the cross-country flight from city to Landon & back with four tiger Moths taking part in it, in 1930s. Living leged Mrs.Rabia Futehally was the primary girls pilot of the Republic of India to get personal Pilot Licence from the city Flying Club. currently, she is member of the managing committee oF this institute.
