ADMISSIONThe Velu Thampi Memorial(VTM) college of Arts & Science was established in 2004 as a self supporting Linguistic Minority establishment.The College is in hand and managed by VTM instructional Trust, a Unit of the Kanyakumari District Nair Service Society,registered on fifteenth Gregorian calendar month, 1997. (Reg.No : 745/97). the school has been sanctioned by Govt of Tamilnadu and is affilated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University,Tirunelveli. The College is found on a sprawling ten.01 acre field in Arumanai city panchayet, Vilavancode Taluk,Kanyakumari District.The College is called once the good subject and subversive, Velu Thampi Dalava of the erstwhile Princely state of Travancore. the muse stone for the school building was ordered by His Highness Uthradam Thirunal Marthandavarma,Head of the Travancore royal line on 17-03-2002. the school building was formally inaugurated by Sri. N.Dhalavai Sundaram, Honourable Minister for Public Health, Govt. of Tamilnadu on 06-02-2005. The College started performing on 01-09-2004. With the blessings of God and beneath the exalting leadership of Sri.K.Unnikrishnan Nair,Chairman,Sri.V.Rajesh,Correspondent and Secretary and with the co-operation of the members of the Managing Committee of the VTM instructional Trust.
