ADMISSIONDr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (Dr AIT) was established within the year 1980 by Panchajanya Vidyapeeta Welfare Trust (PVPWT) metropolis. PVPWT is supported by Late Sri. M. H. Jayaprakash Narayan. The establishment was started with 3 AICTE approved collegian (UG) programs in Departments of engineering science, engineering and Electrical and natural philosophy Engineering (EEE). Later UG programs in natural philosophy and Communication Engineering, industrial management and Management, Instrumentation Technology, engineering and Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, IP and Engineering and Medical natural philosophy, were conjointly inducted. additionally, the establishment presently conjointly holds fourteen analysis centers recognized by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. ), the College has a grownup manifold with a complete student intake of 1285 following courses in 10 collegians, 10 postgraduate programs (PG) of engineering together with Master in Business, MCA and master's degree (Engg.) by research/Doctoral Programmes.
The establishment is power-assisted by Government of Karnataka, approved by All Republic of India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Indian capital and is connected to VTU, Belagavi. The establishment is commissioned by National Board of enfranchisement (NBA) and National Assessment and enfranchisement Council (NAAC) with ‘A’ Grade.
The faculty was granted with Autonomous standing by UGC throughout 2007 and also the college enforced a similar throughout the 2010-11 year. The Institute has ISO 9001:2008 certification and every one department's ar commissioned by NBA, New Delhi.
