Shivaji College of education was started in 1972 through the efforts of Rtd additional commissioner for public instruction Late Shri V. B. Desai. It is one of the oldest B.Ed College in Karnataka. Till today it has made an incredible mark in the arena of education. For over four decades, the college has bloomed spreading its fragrance with budding teachers assiduously nurtured and groomed toward excellence to serve the society.
